August 18, 2019 Train to Troon, Scotland

Since we had unlimited use of the train for 22 days, we decided to take the train to the west coast of Scotland for the day.  We had to change trains in Glasgow, but didn’t see much of the city.  We picked the town of Troon because there was a peninsula on the coast where there would be boats moored.

It was windy and wet, but not cold.  We watched about 15 kiteboarder enjoying the wind and water.  We walked to a marina with a restaurant for lunch and enjoyed looking at boats.

We returned to Stirling to pack up after walking through town one more time.
