February 3, 2017 Boat day in Black Point

This morning, we finally hung our laundry on the lifelines of the boat.  I was anxious to get them out to dry.  When Dave went to dump the water, he thought it was kind of soapy.  I realized I hadn’t rinsed the clothes.  So I brought them back into the cockpit.  Mid day, it started to rain, so I brought the clothes inside and hung them up everywhere we could.  Then later hung them up again outside.  It felt like the movie “Ground Hog Day”.

We spent the rest of the day cleaning  and arranging the aft cabin for Kaitlin.  It all needed to be done anyway.  We pulled back the mattress on our v berth bed to access storage.  We stored the winter clothing and pulled out the bedding for guests.  Always a shuffle.
