September 25, 2018 Cape Elizabeth near Portland, ME

Pete and I decided to be tourists again while Dave did some work on the boat.
We drove to Cape Elizabeth, south of Portland, to see light houses and the ocean view.  It was a little drizzly, but we enjoyed the day anyway.

Our first stop was Two Lights State Park.  We had a nice walk along the coastline.  Then we stopped at the remains of the Goddard Mansion.  It was built in 1858.

We stopped at Scratch bakery/restaurant for an awesome lunch.  We even bought a loaf of bread to take back to the boat.  We drove through the seaport area of Portland and headed back to the boat.  I needed to pick up eggs, so we. Bought the store’s homemade lobster bisque and fish chowder to have with our bread.  Everything was yummy.
