September 23, 2018 Pettit family and Pete in Boston

We have friends in Marblehead, MA that have been wanting us to contact them when we were in the area.  Pete’s flight arrived at 2:00, so they invited us to their home for brunch beforehand.  Heidi and Tom Pettit have lived in the Boston area for many years.  They have 3 great children Henry, Maggie, and James.  We have known Heidi since she was born in Germany.  We met her parents in Germany, Tom and Lesa Franken, while Tom and Dave were in the Air Force and stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base.   We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the nice weather outside.  Heidi even gave us garden tomatoes.  Still a South Dakota girl at heart.

 We were able to pick up Pete and be back at the boat in time to have a lobster dinner at the Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster.  We each had their combination special of a lobster, a pound of steamed clams and an ear of corn.  Then we headed to the boat to settle in for a week.
