September 20, 2018 South Freeport, ME Strouts Point Wharf Company
We moved further north and west to South Freeport, ME and Strouts Point Wharf Marina. We wanted to get a mooring ball through the weekend. We were surprised that they only had a couple available. There were a lot of boats left there on mooring balls that they were being hauled out of the water to winterize for the season. That hadn’t crossed our mind.

We went to shore to use their laundry and to get fuel. After all of our chores, we decided to eat on shore at a restaurant on the water next to the marina, Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster. They had one window for ordering sandwiches, sides and drinks. But there was a separate window if you wanted lobster or clams. They indoor seating and tables outside. I had the best fish sandwich I have ever had. It was made with local haddock and was huge. Dave had a lobster roll. All their t-shirts and hats had a lobster on them and So.Free.Me. It took us some time to figure out what so free me had to do with lobsters. I finally realized it was the abbreviation for South Freeport, Maine.
