March 27, 2019 fishing and bread making

We expected the weather to be more rough today.  So the guys took off to spearfish while Colleen and I hung out on the boat.  I showed Colleen how we make bread on the boat.  She got right into it.  After our accomplishment, we enjoyed a couple cocktails on the stern of the boat.  It was a little cool to swim, so we enjoyed just putting our feet in the water.  I don’t know why I had never thought of that before.

The guys came back in the late afternoon.  They handed us the bag for the fish to check out  their catch for the day.  It was 4 filets of mahi in a plastic bag!  The water was too rough for them to handle the dinghy and get good shots at the fish.  They stopped in Royal Harbor to “knock on hulls”.  Dave likes to check out which boat is going to drag in the next storm. We had met people on a couple of the boats.  The people on a new one must have felt sorry for them.  They handed over mahi that they had caught that day as they crossed from the Abacos.

After Gene took a quick nap, we had another delicious dinner.  We finished off the day with a beautiful sunset.
