March 23, 2019 Beach Day

We had a nice breakfast on the deck as we started laundry.  By late morning, we headed to the beach.  We were going to be here about an hour and head somewhere for lunch.  We had so much fun walking the beach and laying on the beach, that we changed plans.  I went back to the cottage to make sandwiches and pick up beer.  We enjoyed lunch on the beach and ended up spending the afternoon relaxing. 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
After cleaning up at the cottage, we drove out to the Sandbar restaurant on Russel Island.  It was a beautiful evening to eat at this outdoor restaurant.  We love their fish tacos made with Mahi Mahi.  Still great!  And they have some fun tropical drinks.  Nancy had a passion fruit rum drink and a fruity rum special.  I had their jalapeño infused tequila with lime juice and fresh cucumber slices, then a guava basil Moscow Mule.  We caught the tail end of the sunset again.
