This morning, Alice, Dean, Dave and I had breakfast downtown in a great little local restaurant. Then we helped Alice open a checking account. We packed up and said our good-byes and left for Mpls. We went to Joe and Erin Clausen’s for dinner. We just picked up Thai food and ate at their house since it was a work day for them.
On our way back to my brother Jerry’s, Dave suggested we drive by the 4th precinct where his brother works as a police officer. There has been demonstrations for about a week, but they have all been peaceful. Of course, I didn’t think it would be a good idea. We arrived at Jerry’s about 10:30 pm and found out in the morning that there had been a shooting at 4th precinct at 10:45. That probably would have been the time we would have been there.
