November 19, 2015 Unloading Day in WI

We all slept in this morning and woke up to snow!  Debbie made us an awesome brunch, then we set to work.

We all caravanned into town about 12 miles.  We cased out the apartment first.  I wasn't sure how we were going to get a two bedroom apartment and a garage into a one bedroom apartment and a storage unit, but I wasn’t in charge.

We started unpacking at 12:30 pm.  Dave, Debbie and I unloaded the 20 foot truck and the 6x12 trailer.   Debbie had packed sandwiches, chips and grapes for a late lunch, which was awesome.   Debbie’s boyfriend, Randy, showed up after work and helped us finish up.  We closed the doors on the U-Haul at 7:30 pm.

Dave and I took the U-Haul truck and trailer to Rice Lake about 15 miles away.  Debbie and Alice headed back to Debbie’s to make us dinner.  We made it back to Debbie’s by 9:00 pm in time for late good old Minnesota Tater Tot Casserole, showers and bed.

I think I am going to lose my big toenail on my right foot from kicking the dolly one too many times.
