July 31, 2016 Presho, SD and the River Liffey Boys

Happy Birthday to my husband Dave!! and friend Sheryl Bedard!

I left Rapid City today.  My sister will arrive in Pierre late tonight, and her car will turn into a pumpkin if I don’t return it. 

Pete’s band was playing at a private party in Presho, SD at 4:00 today (about 40 miles from Pierre).  So I tagged along to hear them play one more time.  It was at a small country club and reminded me of my hometown of Miller, SD.  It was fun being a “groupie” along with Pete’s friend, April. 

The band enjoyed their break on the golf course on the beautiful SD prairie.

Pete sang this song at our family reunion this summer.  The kids were singing it for a couple days.  Sorry Heidi and Glen :)  It's called "Pigs can Swim", and Pete used to listen to the Irish Rovers sing it when he was little.
