We started our day by taking the bus into Sydney from Bondi Beach at 8:20am. Someone gave up their seat for me on the bus because I was a "senior". I took it! We arrived early for our 10:15 boat harbour tour and took a few pictures with the famous Sydney Opera House.

It was amazing to see the opera house in person after seeing pictures of it for years.
We chose the Princess Cruise for 90 minutes because they had a live narrator. Most of the others had recordings you listened to. Ron was great at answering questions, too. We were impressed by the number of parks along the Harbour.

After the tour, we walked through the area known as the Rocks. It is the "birthplace of modern Sydney". It is located on a peninsula that is near and under the Sydney Bridge. When European settles arrived in 1788, this area was settled by the convicts. There are museums, restaurants and shops in the area now.

it looked like this building was being put together like Legos |
We ate at a restaurant called Bibs and Burgers. You placed your order from the table with your phone. That's probably getting more common now. Glad we decided to share a meal.

After walking under the bridge, we headed back to the public bus by 2:00. Back at Bondi Beach, we had a sandwich in the room and packed to head to Perth tomorrow.
