I first met Kylie in South Dakota when she was attending Ski for Light. She was Catholic and wanted to go to church, so my friend that she was staying with connected the two of us. I made a point of going to church together in Perth. She apologized for having to go about 20 minutes away from her home. She had moved, but liked to go back to her previous church. One reason was because of the "lovely tea" that they had after mass.
I drove to her place, the first time driving on the left, in Maylands, WA. It was about 6:30 am on a Sunday, so there wasn't as much traffic. And we had driven that route a couple times now. From her house, we took an Uber, which she does every Sunday. She wanted to treat me, since I had taken her to church in SD several times, by now. St Thomas the Apostle was in Claremont, Western Australia.
It was a beautiful church. And we had a "lovely tea" with lovely people after mass.
Kylie had several things to do today, besides pack for a 2 day adventure to Margaret River tomorrow. So Dave and I found an Irish Pub for an Irish Breakfast. The hard part was not coming back for the live music that night. At our hotel, we were able to do laundry before packing.
