I had to meet with the physician in Aberdeen, SD that will be doing my surgeries on my knees. So I decided to make the appointment close to Thanksgiving. I was able to spend the holiday with my family. Dave decided not to go along since we will have so many expenses with all of this.
I flew into and out of Aberdeen, SD. My brother-in-law, Jim Moore ended up having back surgery on the Monday before Thanksgiving. So I rode with my niece, Heidi and her family to Minneapolis.
My brother Jerry and his wife Barb hosted our family again. They have
been doing that every two years for a long time. They have a nice large
house to be able to feed us and beds for everyone, at least this year.
It is always fun.

I rode back to Aberdeen with my brother Don and his wife Linda. We had a fun gathering at Janice and Jim’s home when we returned to Aberdeen. My appointment went great. They didn’t understand why I would want to go back to SD in the middle of the winter. I guess I have forgotten how cold it can be.
